We propose to advance the development and the fabrication process of Ultra Narrow optical filters with steep roll off and high rejection ratio.Such filters are required for next generation RF over fiber applications |

This effort will improve the performance, the repeatability of the manufacturing process of high performance optical filters . As a result this will significantly reduce the cost of the high performance filters to the Navy and enable next generation RF over fiber applications. Such filters may also find use in emergent next generation cellular commercial markets. |
